Tim Cahill is an amazing travel writer, having gotten his start at a burgeoning little magazine called Rolling Stone way back when it actually was counterculture. He's traveled all over the world. Literally. And written downright hilarious stories along the way. There are two links included here are to a CNN article from all the way back in 2000 (heavens to betsy, the newest millenium began ages ago) and an interview with Rolf Potts, who runs the fantastic website Vagabonding, a site all about travel and travel writers ... pretty much a dream job, if you ask me.
